The “Aarhus by Bike” city tour is a great way to experience Aarhus and her personality in a unique way, traveling by bike like the locals.

The tour covers the city in 3 hours with regular stops along the route where you will hear historical and ongoing facts as well as stories worth knowing.

While with us, you will get to see Aarhus in a different and more adventurous way than traditional sightseeing. Our approach is fun, informative and relaxed.

On our tour you will not only get to know the “must see” places, but also places away from the typical touristic paths. We will be visiting the unknown backyards and other little hideaways off the beaten track, which all contribute to making Aarhus a unique city full of charm.

Our approach is more about the storytelling, rather than to focus solely on dates and numbers.

Starting out in the pretty, cobbled streets of the Latin quarters, we cover: Aarhus in the Viking age, Marselisborg Palace the summer residence of the Royal Family, the crypt beneath the Church of Our Lady, the city hall designed by Arne Jacobsen, the Cathedral, a typical Danish allotment garden and much more.

On the tour we make a longer break at one of Denmarks culinary institutions: a hot dog stand, where you will have the opportunity to taste the famous danish hot dog.
